Ravi V has shared this link where you can enter your IFCI infrastructure bond application number and see the allotment status. Karvy before that had come up with a link where you could download your IDFC allotment advice as well, but you can’t do that here yet.

Still, this is going to be useful for a lot of people who haven’t got any communication on their IFCI infra bonds.

I had applied for IFCI Infra bonds vide application Form No. 2927001. I deposited Rs. 20,000/- vide Cheque No. 511619 dated 24.12.2010 payable at OBC, Branch- Sector-16, faridabad.The payments of Rs. 20,000/- were debited to my account on 31.12.2010.
So far I have not received any information on allotment of bond. Please confirm the status of this.

Thanks a lot for sharing the link for checking the allotment as well as downloading the e-allotment letter. Appreciate your help.

On a related note, it is very sad to note that IFCI is not concerned with the number of calls they get about this to the regional office (bangalore) or head office (delhi). They keep telling the same story of ‘The bond allotment is getting dispatched and you will get this in a day or 2″. Instead they can simply publish this link via a public notice/ newspapers and it would ease of the tension/agony of the investor as well as save the effort involved in answering all the telephonic queries.

Yes, without doubt – retail investors have had to face numerous hassles in getting these infra bonds – not only for IFCI but for every issuer. I think part of that is because these are new products.

My recommendation for people investing in them next year would be to get them done as early as possible so they don’t cut in too close with the tax season.

I don’t know of a way to add nominees online, as far as I know you need to file an application for that.

I checked the link mentioned on this article. But it shows ‘No Data Found’.
I have tried calling their customer care and mailing them on infrabonds@ifciltd.com but not receiving any replies.
Can you provide information(mail-id or conatct no) of IFCI senior executives who can atleast respond to my queries.

Thanks Ravi for the link. It was really helpful. After about four months without any confirmation from the REC infra bonds unit, finally I had to contact the registrar (which luckily turns out to be the same Beetel …) and I was therefore able to get some more details regarding my allotment.
