How to invest in Reliance Infrastructure NFO using ICICI Direct?

The minimum amount that you can invest in the Reliance Infrastructure Fund is Rs.5,000, so first make sure that you have allocated that much to your mutual funds.

To do that, login to your account, click on Equity –> Modify Allocation.

After that, add funds in the third row – “Mutual Funds, IPO, Tax, Insurance & Others”. You can do this by entering the amount you wish to invest in the “Amount” text box. After entering the amount, click on “Submit”.

You will see the message – “Your Allocation is Complete”.

Now click on Mutual Funds –> FMP / NFO

Now, based on your preference, you can select the Dividend or the Growth Plan and select on Purchase or SIP. If you want to set up a Systematic Investment Plan, click on SIP.

step-3When you click on SIP, the following screen will appear and you can enter in the months you want to set this up for and the amount for that. After entering the amount, click on “Proceed for Confirmation” button and on the next screen confirm your transaction. The next screen also gives you an option to modify or confirm your transaction. step-4These are the steps you need to take if you want to invest in the Reliance Infrastructure NFO using ICICI Direct. I applied for reliance infrastructure fund through hdfc bank, I didnt receive any accnoldgment slip or anything from the bank,they said it will come via post, but nothing, and the unit allotment date was 23 july, till date I didnt receive any information about the unit allotment too, please tell me, do this units update it will be as a certificate form,which comes to my address? I am a first time inveter in MFs.

    will i get any written ducument relating to this,hw and when i can sell it off.please guide me.

  6. I have invested rs 5000/- inrelliance infrastructure nfo on 23-06-2009but Ihave not received allotment of units till date. Will you please let me know when the units will be alloted. The investment was through my demat account of ICICI .Direct .

I have invested Rs. 50 K in Reliance Infrastructure Fund in to Growth Fund Option on 22.07.09 for one year, through Kotak Mahindra Bank but till date I have not received a single documents(ackowledgment/advice/certificate etc.) for the same, as I was advised that documnents will be delivered at my home address within 15 days.

    How could I get these documents?

      I think you should definitely call their customer care center and asked for your acknowledgment. I don’t know anyone else who can help you with this.

    Investing for Rel Infra NFO. Also, Is ther any locking period for this??
    like open ended close ended( I dont have much idea abt tht)
