PFC Infrastructure Bonds

I think PFC is going to be last issuer to issue infrastructure bonds, and here is a post about some details on this bond issue.

PFC infra bond issue opened on February 24th 2011, and will close on the March 22nd 2011. The issue has been rated AAA / Stable by CRISIL and LAAA with stable outlook by ICRA.

These PFC Bonds are only going to be issued in the Demat form, and are secured in nature. The face value of each bond is Rs. 5,000 and here is a table with interest rate and maturity information of these bonds.

  7. Dear sir,

I need some help.I have applied for PFC bonds directly.
But by mistake i forget to mention DP Participient name (1.e.Sharekhan) in form.

Will it affect my allottment..What should I do now?

    1. please intimate the bank or office near dwarka or vikas puri to purchase the bonds. The documents required for purchasing these bonds may also be communicated.

    1. You will have to go to a bank to submit it, or hire an agent or use a platform like ICICI Direct to invest in it. I don’t know if the app forms are available online or not, but even if they are, you’ll have to visit a branch or something to invest in them.

  8. Hi Manshu, I’ve been trying to figure out if the buyback in infra bonds is exercise-able is at the issuer’s option or the bond-holder’s option. I guess that it varies from issuer to issuer, any idea what’s the case with these PFC Bonds?

    1. That info is usually present in the prospectus Gautam. For PFC it is the bondholder I think. There is a date before which you have to notify them of the buyback and they do it for you. This is from memory though so I may be incorrect.
